1997 Voltswagen Golf GL

Selling my VW Golf as i've no need for a car anymore, and have moved to motorcycles. Proving to be a cash-pit, my bike has also made it unrealistically expensive to service and register a second vehicle. I've loved this car for about 6 years, it has been my favourite guy, pride and joy.

- Advanti racing rims [worth about $1500]
- Sports exhaust
- Touch screen LCD stereo head unit
- new crank angle sensor
- replaced water pump
- Dark smoke tint windows
- really clean interior [except roof lining]
- brilliant fuel economy
- no big dents, never been in an accident
CONS
- reverse lockout plate need replacing [small plastic part]
- clutch is starting to slip
- needs new tyres
- back electric windows dont work [Front ones work fine]
- small patch of paintwork on the rear hatch peeling
- Unregistered [blue slip]
Would suit mechanic buyer or someone willing to have it serviced. As i mentioned, this car has been a pleasure to drive for many years. I'm really sad to see it go. Relatively urgent sale.
