1979 MK1 Golf Diesel CK 1.5 Litre.
Located Cairns, Queensland, Australia.
Originally imported toAdelaide in late 1979 from the factory in Germany.
Imported by VW dealer. All original Aussie rego papers go with car.
This is one of approx 30% of the MK1 produced in 79 as Diesel.
A rare find.
I found this beauty on a farm 12 months ago.
Started ran and drove although rough.
New tires fitted, All four springs replaced with aftermarket Meyle set.
Engine cover painted. Rustproofing of engine bay and entire car.
Turbo had been fitted by the previous owner and blown.
Old turbo removed. New Turbo goes with car for install.
Car has been re piped to straight diesel work done by Tuff Muff Cairns.
All new air filter piping set up and configuration alloy piping, silicone elbow joints etc.
New coolant tank. New brake lines fitted existing brakes reconditioned.
New glow plug linking soleanoid fitted.
Project car 6 months work done.
Needs new cylinder head approx $700 total $2000 to be road worthy,Registered.
Comes with range of new parts to fit this car.
Front and rear Disc brakes/pads. New Turbo.
Approx $2000 of new parts ready to be fitted.
