Hi
For sale is this 57 plate VW Golf TDI.
I'm having a bit of a clear out! I've got too many cars and parts hanging around, so decided to sell some to make space!
I bought this from a trader that told me it needed a clutch and some light bodywork. So I bought it and did the work so it kept me busy.
It's advertised cheaper than a forecourt would sell it for, so please - no silly bids! I'm selling it for what it cost me. I have a VW Book pack, current MOT and V5 waiting to be transferred to the new owner, so you would be the 3rd owner!
It's done approx. 60000 miles and since I have had it, I've done over 900 miles in it - mostly town and A road (to Greenwich and back & just recently to Essex and back). It been used for local runs as well as trips from us to Romford and back on weekends for my wife's work. It's a competent motor car and one that should stand the test of time. My wife uses it for shopping runs and the odd drive to her work place in Romford and back (approx an hour or so each way).
2 previous company owners - so they carried out most of their own work. Whilst the 1st company had the car, VW records show it as having been in at dealers at least twice. The second owners did their own work as its not been back at the dealers. Between the 1st and 2nd owner, they have lost the service book.
MOT records show the mileages to be correct however, so no problems there! Recent MOT carried out too - so nothing to worry about for just under a year.
Since I have had it (I work in a garage) I have given it an engine service, replaced the clutch (and flywheel to be on the safe side), the timing belt and water pump (it had already been at least once before). I've also replaced some niggly bits and bobs too - so whoever drives it can have a smooth drive. Rear seat has 2 cigarette burns in by the way, but replacement rear benches can be bought from ebay & the handbrake knob needs replacing).
All in all, I am offering a late model good used VW Golf for sale. Ideal for town runs, short runs too - as it doesn't have a troublesome DPF fitted!! No warranties offered or implied.
