Description
Hard to find 2 door hatchback in Tornado red. Diesel average mileage 45-50mpg! Such a fun car to drive. We purchased this Golf for one reason onlyto make frequent 1,600 mile road trips to care for an elderly relative. He has now passed, so we no longer need this car. We are a retired couple who treated this car like our baby.
28,485 mostly freeway miles, yet still considered low to average mileage for this year car.
Front wheel drive; 5 speed automatic transmission; Turbo charged engine really has some get up and go.

We have had people come up to us in parking lots to tell us how cute this are is. The cool/cute factor is off the chart. It does draw attention. This is great for those who need to get great mileage AND drive a comfortable car. The handling is spectacular. The one and only thing we would change if we could is that the road noise is a bit loud. Just being honest. But we're not used to being in a car so close to the ground. (Our other car is an F-250). But we just crank up the tunes and we're on our way.
We are in Central Oregon, near Bend. Please ask any questions. This is not the first car we have sold on e-Bay, so we do know the ins and outs. Our last car sold to Eastern Europe, so we realize there are sometimes hoops to jump through. We welcome your independent inspection.
