Hi there, hoped to never have to write this ad but here it is:
2002 (52 plate) VW Golf 2.3 V5 20V 170Bhp 5 speed 3 door petrol
114000 miles

Some service history done most of the regular service myself
Car is running fully synthetic 0w40 Mobil 1 oil and Mann oil filter. Honda S2000 air filter (got oem airbox also)
Replaced front control arm bushings with uprated R32 ones (Lemforder parts)
Replaced ball joints (Lemforder parts)
Replaced gearbox mount (Lemforder part), replaced mount's stretch bolts with high tensile ones non-stretch
Have new track rods inner+outer and gaitors (Lemforder parts), didn't get round to fit them
Anti roll bar bushes (Lemforder parts), didn't get round to fit them
Front subframe bushes, didn't get round to fit them
Replaced 2 ignition coils
Almost all old mot's
Mot until end of Jan 2016
Currently sorn as of start of November 2015
Bought the car around May 2014 and it has been a joy to drive, engine sounds great with honda air filter very throaty and standard exhaust.
Good condition overall
Cloth sport seats, looks like it's had heated leather seats in the past previous owner swapped for whatever reason, switches and looms present in the car, still has leather door cards front and rear.
Heated mirrors, airbags, abs, esp, traction control and all that
BBS oem alloys with good winter tires
Full spare wheel with good tire
Fog lights
Chain driven engine so no cambelt to snap
Drive away in it no problem
The car is complete.and drives well
Was keeping the car as clean car with low mileage and wanted to start a project and turbo the 5 cylinder as these are getting rare now
Got a 6 speed 02M gearbox was planning to swap and opened it to reinforce the shift forks, replace the rivets with high grade bolts
Got the gear linkage/ shift box. transfer box and starter from the 6 speed donor car
Spare starter for the 5 speed as well
Reason for sale is moving from house with garage to a flat with no access to garage after new years and don't have the space to keep the car / spare parts and do the work unfortunately. Work is not allowing me to do work on the car on a regular basis at the moment
Tried to be as honest and to describe the car as accurate as I possibly could
Please don't make any silly offers under £1200 as I've had loads of them, you will not find a car in this state for less then what I'm asking with the extra parts and the labor that went into reinforcing the shift forks as well
