Description
Selling my mk1 golf gti taxed until 31/08/2014 mot till 20/09/2014, reluctant sale but not practical with family, lovely car used for daily commuting starts up first time never any problems runs sweet and sounds awesome.
modifications to the car:
Engine: The 1.8 gti engine was rebuilt 5 thousand miles ago, and has done 66000 miles all together, it has twin delleroto 40s with ported and polished head, racing cam and electrical regulated fuel pump, samco coolant pipes and a new radiator, and stainless exhaust, these upgrades give the car a serious power improvement, very fast car but still keeps its class, and sounds like a 80s rally car turns heads everywhere it goes.
Exterior: the car has been lowered on fk height adjustable coil overs, been fully Polly bushed, car handles superbly great around the twisty b roads full on driving experience. car sits on RH alloys, x4 new Goodyear blue response tires has lots of grip, front brakes have grooved drilled discs along with Frodo brake pads rear drum brakes are good, car has great stopping power and no brake fade.
Interior: seats are out of a mazda rx8 they give great comfort and haven't heard of another mk1 with these seats, it has Raceland 3 point harnesses. the original dash has been replaced with a mk2 gti dash as the switches for lights etc are better, momo deep dish drifting steering wheel with snap off 40 ml boss kit brings the steering wheel out for more control, electrical boot popper, single wiper conversion, probably other things as well, a lot of money has been spent on this car and its a real shame to have to sell.
the car has been fully resprayed in Porsche maritime blue one of a kind colour really sets the car apart from other mk1s.
car has a few bits of rust but it is 30years old, needs to be seen to be fully appreciated
any questions or to view then either message me on here or text 07972636144
cheers jack
