Here we have my early mk2 golf C type 19 in Mars red.
Solid car with no rust or rot, paintwork is original bar the repro front wings, could do with paint to make it mint but is very very presentable as it is. It retains all its original glass bar one quarter light window. There is minor paint flake where the rear arches have been rolled The car needs to be viewed and driven to really be appreciated.
Externally its original except the USA spec rear lights and bbs rs764 16" alloys.
The interior is tidy and original
Engine and running gear is a pd130 engine mapped to 170, 5 speed box, hydro clutch, flyby wire throttle pedal. Straight pipe so it is noisy. Has bc racing coilovers and 280mm front brakes. I have a rear disc conversion to go on that can be included in the sale. Also pretty much every bush was replaced by the last owner less than a year ago.
The subframe has been raised along with the turrets so the car can be run extremely low whilst still remaining comfortable. It's pretty low at the moment but can be adjusted to the buyers taste.
Recently I've changed the tank straps, fitted new hella headlights, fitted a slimline fan and had the car fully rewired and had the temperature gauge calibrated so it all works as it should. The car runs great and is very nippy whilst retaining good mpg. Also renewed the blower fan and switch as that have up on me last month.
