1990 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF DRIVER AUTO RED

Here for auction is my mk2 golf driver 1.6 automatic
I've had this car for just over a year, when i first bought it the paint was dull & faded badly, the standard carb was over revving when ticking over
since buying the car all I've done is get it running, driving & looking how a mk2 golf should do.
the original pierburg 2E2 carb had a few issues what a simple rebuild wouldn't solve so I opted to go for the webber 32/34 DTML,
for those who don't know mk2 golfs, this is a common upgrade when the original carb becomes faulty.
it went for its MOT a few months ago, it passed with ease all that was needed was a new rear brake pipe.
it runs a drives great thanks to the webber
since its MOT its had a full brake fluid change,
new rear wheel cylinders both sides
new shoesp
the front brakes are fine the pads
this is a solid little car with zero rust! & a real head tuner, gets a lot of attention at shows because of its originality
theres not many mk2 golfs that are as clean & original like this one!
the only modifications this car has from original are,
1. it has a newer cd player (original ones can be bought on ebay)
2. the new webber car (a piesburg carb can be refiited if the new owner wished)
3. the single lamp conversion recent (I prefer that look, original twill lamp grille will be included in sale, easily swapped over)
the original steel wheels have been recently been refurbished (past month, as shown in pictures)
only bad bit is headlining is slightly tatty but could easily be replaced or renewed
unfortunately the time has come to let her go, as I have too many cars & need to free up drive way space.
