1982 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF GLI CABRIO RED - PROJECT

I bought this car from a doctor and I kept it as my summer car until 2005, when my job kept me away for most of the time. I drove it few more times until the end of the summer 2007 when I parked it in the garage for the last time. I haven't had the chance to use it since and I had planned to have it restored sometime in the future. As I lost the use of the garage I am reluctantly putting it up for sale. For the restoration won't need much mechanically; engine, gearbox and transmission are fine. There would be some body work welding needed, the top changed and a service with all the fluids changed. All depends on the standard to which you want to bring it up to. It is all original as far as I know.
I don't remember the mileage correctly, I would need to have a look next time I will visit the place where it is stored now. As far as I remember it is somewhere around 120k.
