Description
For sale P reg 1996 Golf 8v 3 door in Mystic
Blue. Has covered 48,600 miles with 2 previous
owner from new.
The bodywork is in good condition but is 19 years old so has a few minor blemishes in the paintwork.
Electric windows and sunroof,power steering, Original face off Sony radio cassette player. Two VW keys. Original Alloy Wheels
Full book pack including VW dealer stamped up service book to 41045 miles.
This is very original and unmolested car even down to the factory rubber VW over mats.
I have owned the car since 30th June 2014. In that time I have carried out the following work.
Tracking and 4 wheel alignment checks.
Replaced both plastic scuttle panel covers. The rubber edge on theoriginals had started to break up with age. This is a common issue I understand and difficult to find replacements.
I carried out a service in May 2015 replacing the following:
Cam belt, alternator and power steering belts, Spark plugs. Air filter, engine oil and filter.
Also fitted a new battery.
The car drives and runs very well. Still feels very tight with no nasty clonks etc.
The MOT is valid to 9th July 2016 with no advisories
My reason for selling is I have a number of other cars and "projects" currently on the go therefore have reluctantly decided to sell the Golf.
The car is located in Hockley Essex.
