1999 Volkswagen Golf Gti 1.8T Silver
Here I have for sale my golf Gti turbo which I have owned for the past 18 months, the car starts first time every time and is very reliable, in 2011 the car was taken to APS tuning in brackley and had a host of upgrades which resulted in a bill of £2600.
These upgrades included:
Milltek stainless steel 3 inch turbo back exhaust system and sports manifoldForge intake pipeEcu remap to 195hpEibach prokit lowering springspoly suspension bushes .and various other parts.
The car also benefits from a forge carbon fibre strut brace and engine cover, as well as a kenwood dvd headunit which sounds very good, there is wiring fitted to accomodate a subwoofer or amplifier in the boot.
The interior is in very good condition for its age, has had a full valet by myself, some drivers bolster wear on the recaro seat to be expected. The car has electric windows front and back, vanity lights above the sunvisors and an electric sunroof which works perfectly.
The exterior of the car has a really good shine to it, the main point of mention is a crease in the drivers door which is visible in the light, asnd some touching up to the paint under the tailgate handle, the car still turns heads wherever it goes. The colour is a silver pearl which when the light catches it.
Mechanically the car drives well for its age, and has lots of power, the idle dips when coming to a junction, but does not cause any real issues, I believe this may be due to a sensor but I have not looked any further into it. The car handles very well on the 18" wheels with low profile tyres.
The car has mot until march next year, full service history up until 2013 when the service booklet ran out of stamps and the last oil service was carried out by myself.
There is only one key, there is some laquer lift on the alloys but overall they are good and all 4 tyres are next to new - size is 225/40r18.
This car has a lot of extras and I will be including the private number plate in the sale which has been valued at £500.
Sale due to buying an Audi diesel.
