5 DAY AUCTION. WINNER TAKES IT
Hi all. Up for sale is my Golf GT Sport 170. Quite simply put, she has everything extra except sunroof and sat-nav. Cruise control, heated seats, leather interior etc, all the things you really want without having to pay all the extra. She drives great and has a full service history (minus the last stamp which can be obtained by the garage in Portsmouth by sending the service book to them) and nearly 12 months MOT with NO Advisories. The tyres are all pretty much new (less than 4 months old). The brakes have about 70% in the front and 90% at the rear. Just under 107k on the clock
Having said that though, the windscreen did crack in the recent cold weather. I was running late for work and had to put hot water on the windscreen, doh. This is not in any way going through the viewing part of the windscreen but the lower section that runs behind the dashboard. You can't actually see it from inside.
Overall the car is in good condition with the exception of a couple points. It has a bit of a ding on the right arch and the door card on the driver side is a little loose which causes the window to make a noise when closing closer to the end. I could fix this myself by getting the clips on here for a few pound, but it never bothered me. It was like that when I bought it. Stone chips etc are standard for the age but nothing you wouldn't expect.
Don't get this car mixed up with any other diesel Golf, effectively it's a GTi that does over 40mpg. It drives extremely well and is really economical. Only selling as I want to get a campervan. If you see my other items you will see I am selling my Mk1 Ford Escort too. Very sad to see them go, but summer is coming and I want to hit the road whenever I can. Would consider part ex for a van or both cars for a van, cash either way
