2006 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF GT TDI BLACK

I am reluctantly selling my mk5 golf. I bought this car about 2 years ago and It has done me well over that period. The car is lovely to drive and is great on fuel. Unfortunately there are some bad points about the car aswell as many good points. When I bought the car, it had no service history. So over the last 2 years I have been building up the history of the car. The car is very quick and pulls very well. It has had:
-Reconditioned turbo with new gaskets all round and oil feed
-New intercooler
-New egr valve
-I have removed the dpf and replaced it with a stainless steel fake dpf pipe ( it has passed two Mot's with this on)
-New Cambelt and waterpump
-Recently serviced.
-New windscreen
-New front headlights
-New rocker cover gasket
- Two new front tyres and the rear ones are less than a year old.
-New tie rod arm
-New wishbones
- Front Brakes wear changed when I bought the car
Not so good points:
-Aircon does not work, I think it needs regasing
-The fly wheel has recently been making some noises
-Outside temperature sensor is intermittent
-Brake wear sensor is broken
-DPF light sometimes comes on
-Tracking needs to be done
-there are a few marks on the paint work and in the interior, especially the bonnet and rear seats.
-The egr cooler gasket has a leak in it, so sometimes causing light fumey smell.
-Front right headlamp doesn't quite line up properly, not too sure why.
Please don't let the bad points put you off the car. The price reflects what needs to done to the car and onces those small issues are fixed, it will be perfect. A perfect one of these cars can easily fetch £6000.
All the work that has been done on the car has been done via a friend that specialises in vw's and audis.
The car has mot until Feb and is currently sorn.
I have been completely honest in the description so what you see is what to u get, but highly recommend viewing it before bidding, as you are bidding to buy and not to haggle when you come and collect.
