Description
This is my GT TDi 140 bhp VW Golf.I have had his car for 14 months and it has only failed me once during the hot weather last Summer when the aircon wouldn't work. All main aircon components were changed under warranty and it now runs perfectly.
Very high specification with:
Cruise control,
Dual zone climate control (air con).
Auto lights, wipers and dipping rear view mirror and interior courtesy lights (comfort pack).
Both drivers and passengers seats are height adjustable.
Steering wheel adjusts for rake and reach.
The body work is in good condition with only one minor car park ding on the drivers side which I have tried to show in the photos.
Paint work is a little tatty with lots of small scratches but the car is over 10 yrs old.
Alloys were refurbished when I bought the car and I would rate them 9/10 with no evidence of kerb img and only a few small flaky spots that are only visible close up.
Tyres are nearly new Good Year Efficient Grip on the front and Dunlops on the rear with plenty of tread left. Tyres are all 205/55 R16.
Engine runs well with no black smoke and returns an average on all roads of 59mpg. This gives over 500 for a £50 tank of fuel.
Full service history (only 2 spaces left in the Service manual) with the last at 70,000m.
Viewings are welcome either in Banbury during the day or Burford (Oxfordshire) in the evenings. Test drive subject to proof of insurance or £3500 deposit. This car is not advertised elsewhere so the auction will run until complete.
Not interested in WHY or part ex as I have a new car ordered. Cash on collection with a £100 deposit via PayPal or BACS transfer at the end of the auction. As I have described the car as honestly as I can, and will answer any questions in the same way, the winning bidder will be expected to take the car or lose their deposit. If you want to come and kick the tyres, please do so before bidding.
I will accept a cash offer over £3500 to end the auction early but no other offers will be considered.
