Hi here I have my beloved Volkswagen Golf Mk5 2.0 Tdi for (spares or repair).
I'm going to be honest and say the water coolant was going down every 2 weeks or so and ended up nakering 2 turbos. I have done a pressure test and it seems that there is no external leaks, which means the water in going inside the engine I presume. Therefore it needs the cylinder head testing and repairing. As well as a new turbo. Due to the fact it had no service history when I bought the car, it may need the cam belt replacing as well just for minds sake. I did get a full service done to the car not long before it nakered my 2nd turbo, so it has been serviced recently. It will need a catalyic converter putting on as well which is in the boot brand new ready to put on when needed.
I would say its not really drivable because of the nakered turbo and CAT. It does start fine and runs but wouldn’t recommend it. So buyer would need to put on a trailer or tow away.
The car comes with 18'' audi s line alloy wheels which have been recently refurbished and all good tyres. Also I have a spare refurbished but it needs repairing as it has a small crack on the inside.
The rear windows are tinted professionally with no bubbles or peel.
I would like to repair the car myself but I'm not a mechanic so the labour cost would be to dear to do so.
