VW GOLF TDI MATCH 2008 WITH FULL R32 STYLING 150 BHP
Here I am selling with much regret my 2008 VW Golf with a full R32 conversion carried out. This is a genuine reason for sale as I have just purchased the car I have always wanted. This is being sold with regret as it looks awesome and I did plan on keeping it for a long time so spent a fair bit of money getting it the way I wanted it only to be selling it a few months later. I shall list below the details of the car:
Good Points
TAX until 01 March 2015 only £130 for the year
MOT until 02 February 2015
4 new tyres only two months ago
Only 49,000 miles which is really low
Parkers states 56MPG
Full electric windows
Full rubber floor mats
Spare wheel with jack and tools
CD Player
Ipod connection in the armrest
Cruise control
Multi function steering wheel controls
Upgraded to HID bulbs by previous owner so nice and bright
Calipers have been painted red
Recent front brake pads
18 inch R32 style Alloys all in great condition with some minor curb marks to a couple
Full Red leather which looks new ( You will not see anther Golf with red leather. This was retrimmed and looks fantastic includes door cards. Two have been sent back to get redone as I was not happy with them but they shall hopefully be back and be fitted by the time the auction ends).
The interior has also had some carbon fibre wrap on it. Looks nice as well.
Lowered just by 30mm. This was only to enhance the look a little more as being a diesel it sat very high especially at the back. I will give you the other springs should you want to return it back to normal height
Full R32 conversion carried out by previous owner. This included the front bumper and grill and rear bumper and side skirts along with a dual exhaust and rear spoiler. Really does look ace. Has the look of a fast car but the economy of a diesel. best of both worlds
Cambelt and water pump changed using genuine VW parts with receipt to prove
Whilst the car was having the cambelt replaced I had the car remapped from 105bhp up to 150bhp along with 250 lbft of torque with rolling road proof. This gives the car a nice amount of power and torque now. Please understand I am 29 years old so not a boy racer just fancied a little more power as 105 seemed a little sluggish. Work carried out by RK engineering who are top VAG specialists in Cornwall

Reason for starting at 28,957 is that the car had 3 years free servicing and MOTS from new and obviously were not stamped in the book
Bad Points
One small area of corrosion at the drivers rear arch. I did plan on contacting VW as this should be covered under their paint warranty which i believe is 10 years. really annoyed as only noticed it last weekend and this should not be happening to a car of this age.
Crack in the front grill. Not to noticeable from a distance. Again really annoying. I hit a bird or something when bringing home after i purchased it
The fuel sender in the tank needs replacing as the fuel gauge reads a quarter more than it should. It's never bothered me as i am aware of it and is not to expensive to sort either
Sadly this car was a CAT D write off but has been fully repaired to a high standard and has been in daily use for some time
So as you can see I have put a lot of effort into making this car stand out and look really nice while performing really well. It does look like a genuine R32 and I have fooled many people with this. This is a genuine sale and I am a genuine guy. I welcome a full inspection and test drive providing you have prove off insurance.
The private plate will be getting removed but I am unsure on time scales for DVLA to authorise this. The paper work has been sent off today.
