volkswagen golf mk2 gti 1.8 8 valve 1990 big bumper has 175288 on the mileage cambelt was done at 165513 serviced every year just before the mot is due mot until 30/08/2015 no tax as just run out but by new law has to be taxed by the new owner new parts this year. new fan belt , new steering rack boots , new inner cv boots (both side) clutch release bearing, new idle control valve, new spark plugs i have also got a new water pump and a new oil filter not been fitted but will come with the car . new parts fitted last year ht leads , new front discs and pads , new rear pads , new fuel filter , new fan switch , new temp sensor , new blue coolant cap, new heater matrix. the car comes with a stealth shelf with speakers also a 12 ich sub with amp face off stereo , the car is on coil-overs(is a bit bouncy but that's because its really low) not sure on make , it has tear drop alloys in fair condition with good tread on tyresBad points
The body work needs a little tlc as shown in pictures not massive deal , bumpers are faded but do come up clean with a bit of back to black , the drivers seat broke so has a corrado seat fitted ( have the passenger seat to go with the car if the buyer likes ) as can see in photo but with seat cover over doesn't look that bad , interior is in good condition apart from the different driver seat , gear changing is a little sloppy (goes in every gear ) think its just a worn bush or joint not a massive fix , crack in the front windscreen only happened last week see photo and there is a chip on the passenger side window.Bracket that holds k+n air filter broke so is held up with cable ties
The car pulls and drives lovely , solid car shame to let it go but have a new winter project which needs time and money and the mk2 was just a weekend car
