Welcome to my auction for my Mk4 R32 Golf in Deep Blue Pearl, currently covered 127k miles, however the car features a full service history at VW and Specialist garages. I have just had the car MOT'd and so comes with 12 Months MOT.
The car received a full respray last year after the car was keyed. So now there a very few marks on the bodywork (2 stone chips that I noticed while cleaning her yesterday) the rest of the body work is immaculate.
Last year i had the gearbox in the golf replaced as the original one lost the selector fork (a known fault in these cars). However rather than replacing the original with another weak R32 gearbox, it was replaced with the stronger box from the 2.8 V6. A popular part with the Turbo R32 boys who run huge power. At the same time as this I also had the clutch replaced.
Last MOT the car failed on rear brakes, and so, I have replaced the rear discs, pads and callipers. Discs and pads are Mintex and callipers were changed for original VW replacements, so now no chance of a seized rear calliper.
The car boasts the Full Black Leather interior, which is in good condition however is starting to fray on the edge of the drivers side, however very little bolster wear and no tears/rips anywhere else throughout. I have also sourced and fitted a genuine VW Black Leather Armrest. Last year I had the golf booked in at Awesome GTI and had cruise control Retro Fitted. all these things making the car as comfortable on the motorway as it is on the B-roads.
Earlier this year I changed the worn rubber subframe bushes for a pair of 034 metal Subframe bushes, which have stiffened the chassis up. at the same time I also replaced the tired standard dogbone mount for a Powerflex DogBone Mount, which has stiffened up the engine and resulted in very little movement at launch.
I have also fitted Powerflex ARB Bushes and new tie arms. Following all of this the car went in for the hunter 4 wheel alignment.
The exhaust has a decat fitted however I will include in the sale the original cats. Also fitted is a BMC CDA Induction Kit with cold air intake.
The golf is lowered on H&R Springs, which are only a 20mm drop so don't make the car impossible to drive or too uncomfortable. But do make the car handle the bends better.
New Battery With Warranty last year.
The car has Miles to empty and lit needles enabled on the ecu, very nice little features that are not found on the R32 when standard.
Most of the bulbs I have changed for LED's.
