Hi, welcome to this advert for my Golf R32 Mk.5.
I am reluctantly selling my R32 as I am now to take delivery of a works vehicle, due to the mileage I cover annually.
I bought the R32 in September to replace my old Mazda3 MPS and have loved it - this has been the most fun car I have owned and this is due to the V6 character that the previous R models have over the new Mk.6 and Mk.7. The engine tone and roar through the straight-through Milltek exhaust is superb.
As this is the late 2005 model, it has the benefit of being in the low tax bracket: £280/year instead of £500 for 2006> models.
However, power and torque figures remain the same and interior features are identical to newer models.
Standard R32 spec includes:
4x e/w, e/m, PAS, ABS, ESP.All wheel drive (Haldex - sends power to rear wheels if the front start to lose traction).Heated leather seats with electric lumbar adjustment.Dual-zone climate control.Auto-wipers, auto xenon headlights, auto dimming rear view mirror.Privacy glass.18" Alloy wheels (the early models are a pain to clean!!)The car also has the following additions:
Full Milltek exhaust system with de-cat pipe (rather loud but a nice tone. This is quiet when driving at cruising speed)ITG panel air filter upgrade.KW Stage 2 adjustable coilover kit (fitted in August at a cost of over £900).JVC DVD/Bluetooth upgraded stereo (will include this is right price is met).LED replacement number plate light units.Hardcut limiter mapped in at 6800rpm. Please note the "bang" through the exhaust is VERY loud and produces a flame.The car has been regularly serviced and this is well documented in the paperwork I have along with the service records.
Also, the car is MOT'd until late September 2016. The car is also on very low miles for its age at 75,700 miles (increasing as it is my daily until I take delivery of my new car).
The interior is immaculate, regularly hoovered and dashboard cleaned. The outside is regularly washed, polished, sealed and waxed.
A couple of minor issues:-
Rear wiper washer hose has a small split in it, which the moisture has caused the wiper to operate intermittently (I can delete the wiper if necessary).Wheels are not perfectly clean, as they are very tricky to clean effectively.One or two minor paintwork defects (pictured).Electric window switch surround a bit tatty.Not an economical car. Please don't expect a 3.2 V6 to be very efficient on fuel. I achieve around 30-36mpg at best.The car can be viewed, please contact me on 07554 140137 to arrange a viewing - I am located 3 miles east of Lincoln.
No test drives unless you can prove you are insured to drive this vehicle.
This is a lovely car and I hope it will go to someone who will take care of it and love it as much as me.
