As it's a 'Sport' it came with the leather steering wheel & handbrake lever , 16'' Montreal alloy wheels (ideally need refurbishing) and GTI seats which have no cigarette burns, tears or nasty stains. The drivers lower outer bolster foam does have some wear though but the fabric is still good and i can supply another base foam if required.
Obviously this is a now a 13yr old car with over 151k so it's not without it's issues
The bodywork has accumulated a fair share of scratches and little dings over the years from the previous owners
These include a small dent in the offside rear arch lip, a small rippled dent in the top edge of the offside front wing and few little dings in the front edge of the bonnet.
Also, the front door locking micro-switches have failed. All this means is that the interior and lower door courtesy lights don't come on when you open the front doors but tbh it's never bothered me as the interior light comes on when you press unlock on the key fob anyway and also when you remove the key from the ignition barrel.
I already have a brand new nearside locking mechanism ready for fitment which i will supply with the car.
On the whole it's good solid economical car that would be just as suited as family runaround, workhorse or continue to be the cracking base of a VW enthusiasts project.
