Rare 1.4 petrol engine in a Mk5 Golf, combine this with the GTI 18" alloys and the GTI Recaro seats makes this a unique opportunity to own! The car also has only just gone over 70,000 miles with a full documented service history, 7 service stamps in total, 4 VW main dealer, 3 independent including cambelt and water pump at 62,387 miles in January 2014. We will also provide 12 months MOT on the car for the new owner (car is MOT'd until next year). Car only has 2 previous keepers from new.
The car is in very good condition as you can see from the pictures, there are no notable marks, scuffs, dents or scratches on the exterior of the car. Likewise the interior is just as good again with no notable marks, please see the pictures I have tried to cover the whole car best I can.
The car drives perfect with no knocks, bumps or nasty noises, the engine starts first time, doesn't smoke or anything like that, pulls smoothly yet sprightly. The gearbox is smooth and positive through all the gears, the clutch works perfectly, is smooth positive and does not slip or make noises.
I have all the relevant documentation for the car, V5 registration document, MOT's back to 2010, previous receipts, service booklet and 2 remote Keys for the car.
It also has a great spec being the S model, so electric windows and mirrors, power steering, Anti-lock brakes, CD radio stereo, Airbags, Traction control, Air conditioning, Remote central locking alarm and immobiliser and Lumbar support come to mind.
