Description

Hello and thank you for looking!
Here I am selling my VW Golf 1.9 TDI Se. I built the car about 4 years ago and recently bought it back off my brother in law after he had owned it for a few years after the initial conversion. The car is a 90bhp model I think and was remapped by the previous owner. Turbo pulls strong and runs great. Car has been serviced well throughout it life and the book has tonnes of stamps in the book and all over the other pages where it has run out of space.
Brief rundown of the car.
181k miles,
Mot until March 2016,
3 owners before me and my brother in law,
Bora front end conversion,
Full genuine Golf Anniversary bodykit,
De-bagged and de-wipered bootlid,
Skoda Octavia VRS interior,
Black headlining and matching sun visors, grab handles etc,
Lowered on 40mm Springs,
18" alloys which had just had full refurb so are unmarked, Pirelli tyres.
Genuine VW roofbars.
I bought the car back early this year and it had a knocking noise so replaced all the wishbones, track rod ends and drop links so all was new. Also replaced the driveshaft as the cv joint was clicking but wasn't much more for a full shaft so did that instead and also has a full service done. All parts were brand new! Also replaced the front wings as they had started to bubble. I used the car for a very short while but as I also had 3 other cars it's not been used to much which is the reason I am selling it.
I used the car for the first time in about a month last week and the rear calliper was sticking so I've just replaced the rear calliper and discs and pads on both sides. The front discs and pads were done last year so all brakes are good!
The bad bits!
The car is 15 years old now and has done a few miles so you must expect a few things.
I think the wiring between the drivers wing and door has gone faulty (a common fault) as since recently replacing the window regulator none of the switches on the drivers door don't work? Sometimes the window does work and sometimes it doesn't. All the other windows work fine if you press there own switch on there own door. Also when you use the central locking the drivers door doesn't lock/unlock so has to be done manually.
The ABS light is on, but never looked into as as the brakes work fine, probably a wheel speed sensor and the airbag light is on due to the Skoda seats not being plugged in as they have a different plug type. The car also only has one key although I do have a blank spare.
Other than that though the car starts, stops and goes like it should and looks nice! More pictures available on request.
The Ronal Aeros (Black wheels) on the car in most photos I still have and can be bought for a bit extra if you prefer those wheels.
Just to add, I'm 31 and not some young lad who's thrashing the car about. My brother in law is 29. I get bored with standard cars and so like them to look nice. It was bought for its economy and has been used for plodding up and down the motorway.
I am located in Audenshaw, East Manchester. Just off the M60, junction 23.
I am having a clear out so please see my other listings!
Thanks for looking!!
