**Vehicle Requires Repair**
Update 20:46 - 21 August - Engine turns over but does not start. Roadside mechanic said ‘fuel issue’ whereas shop mechanic said ‘requires new or rebuilt engine’.
For sale is my Volkswagen Jetta, which has been a fantastic car, especially for highway driving.
The vehicle was towed to our Mechanic who diagnosed an engine timing issue, which they said would require 100 hours labour to change or recondition the engine. Otherwise the car is in good condition and shows some signs of age, small chips and scuffs, please see photos showing cracked passenger side indicator and scratch.
Most recent repairs/service:
2 x Brand New (0km) Dunlop rear tyres [brand new because the car was towed from Tyre shop]
2 x Front Brake Disc and Pads (<1000km) [were changed in July]
2 x Near New (<4000km) Dunlop front tyres [were changed in April]
Vehicle is registered but registration will be cancelled before pickup.
Pickup in Hawthorn 3122 VIC, we will not organise freight or transport.
COVID-safe inspection or video call can be organised.
