Time to sell our Volkswagen Jetta Sport 2.0 TDI DSG, downsizing to a new VW Up! as my wife uses the car to do only around 4,000 miles a year. It's a lovely car, great spec and has full service history.
Standard Sport spec includes 4 x electric windows, 2 x remote keys, auto lights and wipers, 17" alloy wheels, CD player, ABS and ESP, front and rear armrests (rear has ski hatch), front fog lamps, full size spare wheel, air conditioning, auto dimming rear view mirror and trip computer.
Extras over standard spec, genuine luxury carpet mats, upgraded radio/cd player to MP3 unit, cruise control, parking sensors and a genuine VW touch phone hands free car kit. This can pair two phones at once and will stream music (certain handsets as far as I am aware). This is a great kit and can be activated by voice alone, a necessity these days.
The car has full service history and has also had some major work completed as follows for peace of mind for any prospective new owner. The cambelt and water pump have been replaced (due every 4yrs/80K), the DSG oil and filter have been renewed (due every 40K) along with the dual mass flywheel and clutch pack (they can rattle at idle speed). All of these have been replaced within the last 18 months.
We have had the car since December last year, but since then I now have a company car, and the car has only covered 3580 miles since then. It has been averaging 45 mpg with little use from wife running around town, but we have seen 55-60 mpg easily on a couple of long runs, not bad for an auto.
It has just had a service and MOT at Volkswagen (expires end Aug 2015) and will be taxed at end of this month for six months subject to sale and price achieved. The price is £4750 OR VERY NEAR OFFER, its not the lowest mileage, or the newest, but is probably the lowest price Jetta TDI Sport without intergalactic mileage on ebay.
I will add some more photo's ASAP, but new car isn't too far away so thought better to get advertised. Its not a new car, there are a few small imperfections associated with buying a second hand car of this age and mileage, but is very clean and in great mechanical condition. Nothing has been spared in expense, the tyres are all top Pirelli brand, not some cheaper unknown and with un-prenouncable names.
