VW Volkswagen Karmann Cabriolet 1302s

I am offering my beautiful VW Karmann Cabriolet 1302s up for auction . this is a GENUINE factory convertible as built in the Karmann factory (Wolfsburg Germany) in 1971 . I have a 'Birth Certificate' for this car from the Wolfsburg museum . This cabriolet was delivered new to Ontario California in 1971 and lived its life in USA until 1995 , when it was imported to Australia as a very run down wreck . the importer of the cabriolet then stripped it down for restoration , but never got it completed . I purchased this car in 2001 , its was very incomplete so I had a lot of work to do and a lot of money to spend on it . In february 2004 I completed the full professional restoration at WPVW (images on my website wpvw.com.au) , including many enhancements and had an engineer report prepared for the modifications (including the 2litre turbo engine , genuine GT alloy wheels and adjustable suspension) . for approx. 3 years this cabriolet was trailered to many car shows , where it won over 70 awards , including Top 60 at Summernats 18 in 2005 .
I have had heaps of fun in this beautiful VW cabriolet , but now it is time for someone else to enjoy it !!
