VW split window 1964 Kombi Panel van Volkswagen bus transporter type 2 1500cc

Hi, If you are looking for a split kombi which needs very little work to restore, or a straight original paint rat, this is it.This is a 1964 panel van complete with bumpers, engine all lights, handles etc located in Geelong It has been in my backyard for 15 years, originally from Beufort Victoria This would be great for your business promotion or retro signwriting. The down side: Front seats are missing. I have the passenger seat mouns which I will include. Bulkhead behind seats missing Window holes cut in doors Some rust places, but not much. Most bays have more rust than this Where is the rust? Small amount in the passenger front floor Cargo floor around pillars on driver side and ain front of fuel tank area Small amount in the sills and cargo doors. Aso in the roof frame LH rear corner but the roof is good. This is a very straight van. Repairs to roof will always show on the inside. This one is very nice. The inner and outer sill need replacing as usual but outriggers and jack points look OK The inner font panel could do with a patch on the left side as it feels thin. The inner and outer lower font definately do not need to be replaced which is rare. I am sure you can find some other places where it has started to come through, but basically this is a real good easy project for a beginner The cargo door window holes are eisily repaired. I would re-skinn from the bulge line up. For a small charge I can do this for the buyer. Done it before, made them myself for about $450 each The up side: Rest of the van. Lets face it how many complete relativaly rust free splits do you find today.
