Volkswagen VW Splitscreen 1964 Kombi Camper

Great restoration project. I have owned this Kombi for over 10 years. I put the restoration on hold as my family grew, and then again when I started a business. A recent complete change in my circumstances has lead to this very regretful sale. The doors have been removed, but this Kombi is complete. All windows, doors, bumpers etc are inside the vehicle. It has front and rear bench seats. There is a new replacement left front dog leg and sills too. The key to open the engine compartment is somewhere inside the van. I believe the 1200 engine is the original engine. It was running (unregistered) up until I started dismantling the van 10 years ago. The van is situated in Central Victoria near Heathcote as I no longer have room in my current house in Geelong. I do also have a very early 1600 engine in a shed near Geelong that I can include with the sale if wanted. This engine was removed from a1960's Bay window Kombi, and despite very rusty tin ware was running strong at the time of removal around 8 years ago. Buyer will need to collect the Kombi or arrange transport as my current car is too small to tow it, but I will assist as much as I can. I would prefer the van to stay in Australia but I will list overseas if it doesn't sell. There is no reserve so the highest bid over the starting price wins!
