Main Dealer Part Exchange 2007 Volkswagon Passat SE TDI.
I recently purchased this car for my wife as a needed an ultra reliable car, plenty of space for the children and our dog but due to an immediate change in circumstances it is offered for re-sale. I offer this as a 3 day auction as if it does not sell I intend to keep it myself as it is probably the best and honest example you likely to find.
Spec - 2007 VW Passat 1.9 TDI, cruise, CD, Air Con, ESP, Xenons, Tow bar (single electrics), 4 x e/windows, 6 speed, electronic handbrake plus all standard specification. Everything works including ice cold Air Con. The mileage is 105K
Condition - I rate the car 8/10 in every aspect but that is me being quite critical of its overall condition. It is not damaged or had any paint (or has in the past) but its does of course have a couple of scratches that you would expect from a used car, all will polish out. It has a tiny dent on the passenger door (10p size). Inside is fine apart from a broken rear air vent (still functional) and a tear in the drivers door rubber. Thats it!
Mechanical - The car drives perfectly, smooth gears and handling; it is very quiet for a diesel so you can tell it has been well maintained. All tyres are fine and legal including a brand new spare.
History Documentation - Full service history (with evidence) 8 stamps in the book with the last being @ 95424. Cam belt replaced @ 80, 695 miles. 2 x functional keys, V5, full car documentation wallet, previous MOTS and receipts. The current MOT expires 31 Jan 15. No Tax.
Other information - It has received a full valet including a seats and carpet shampoo. I wanted it to be perfect..
Delivery - if the Buy it now price is paid I will deliver the car free of charge within mainland UK. Other locations may incur a small fee - please just ask. Other than that the car is to be collected from my home address in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
I am sure that I have covered most aspects of the car, the condition and spec. Hopefully the photos speak for themselves, however please ask me a question if you need anymore detail.
Conditions - I have described the car honestly and believe it to be very accurate, although I would encourage (and welcome) any independent assessment. The car is sold as seen and therefore no guarantees implied or offered and with the same as any auction the price that will be paid upon exchange is the price agreed. I won't take bank transfers unless I witness them and I won't ship the car to Nigeria for double the money. Winning bidder to make contact with me no more than 3 hours after he sale to discuss payment and collection.
