HiWelcome to my auction.
This has been a great little car in our family for the last 2 1/2 years. We are the 4th owners. I am also selling my little van in another auction so we can bundle together to buy just the 1 vehicle in the household.
Our Polo is in pretty good condition, it does have some minor little blemishes courtesy of supermarket car parks and the like but on the whole pretty good and has never been in a collision with us. My partner is the main driver and only generally uses to commute around 10 miles per day. We have 2 keys and 2 fobs although they have seen better days as they are made of rubber and any loop to attach to a keyring has perished, but they are still useable.
We have maintained the car accordingly and in our time it has been serviced, had a new cam belt with water pump, we had the engine light come on which turned out to be the Lambda sensor which we replaced (£130 part alone) a couple of suspension springs all of which are documented.
Everything works as it should, A/C - not freezing, but cold, front electric windows, electric mirrors, Cd player etc.
The mileage is exceptionally low for its age and I think in our time we've done a yearly average in twice as long, it currently stands at 66,600 miles, I think I have a few MOTs to back up the mileage.
The only negative I would say are the alloys as they could do with a refurb, however all the tyres are good. The rear screen wash doesn't work as we lost the plastic cover that covers the water jet, so I believe this must now be blocked as its exposed, but you can hear the motor so as said I think it needs unblocking and a new cover, a few pounds from a scrapyard I'm sure.
Other than that this is a great little car and we'll be sad to see it go as it hasn't ever let us down.
You are more than welcome to come and try before you buy, we can be quite flexible & accommodating.
I will add more pictures this week, as the old girl needs a good wash & valet and will be treat to those this week..
