Description
Selling my 2008 VW R32. Blue exterior, gray leather interior. DSG. Currently at 82700 miles (may go up slightly, as I still drive it). I believe they were only equipped one way, with all power options, power sunroof, heated seats, HID headlights, paddle shifters, etc.
Car has a few modifications:
VF Engineering intake
Milltek catless downpipes/catback exhaust
United Motorsport engine tune
United Motorsport DSG tune (with spark cut shifting and adjustable launch control)
034 Motorsports engine and transmission mounts
ECS Tuning lower mount
ECS Tuning front subframe lockdown collar set
New OEM DSG clutch pack (at 81k miles)
I got the car with a salvage title, due to previous owner running over road debris and cracking transmission housing. I had the transmission replaced, and have been driving this car since 76k miles. It has a rebuilt Pennsylvania title, and is licensed, insured and inspected till 3/2018. At that time, I also had the windshield replaced with a Pilkington windshield, as previous owner had the wrong windshield in, and it had a deep scratch (they did not have the correct one for rain sensor. The new one does. New rain sensor installed as well). I also had the rear brake pads replaced, left front lower ball joint replaced, and 2 tires, all done at 76k miles.
I am selling this car because a family member moved overseas and gave me theirs, so one has to go. No sense in paying insurance on 2 cars when I will only be driving 1. Title in hand, in my name, ready to go. Only thing this car needs is an oil change (it is due in 100 miles), and maybe wheel alignment, which I can have done before sale. The car wasn't aligned after subframe lockdown collars were installed 2 months ago. Internet says I'm supposed to have it done.
No warning lights on, no check engine light, everything works. I have 1 new remote key with the car, as well as 1 other keyless remote, and 1 regular key (without remote). Sirius XM subscription was just renewed for 6 months, till March 2018.
The car drives great with no issues. Sounds aggressive but not overly loud. It does have a few paint scratches, but nothing out of the ordinary for a 9 year old car.
The car is sold as is, with no warranty, expressed or implied. Aftermarket warranty might be available, as the car is less than 10 years or 100k miles old (my insurance company always has offers on that).
If you are interested in the car and are not local, I can help arrange for transport. I do have a friend in that field, so I may be able to get very competitive rates. Transport fees are to be paid by buyer. I can deliver the car, or have it delivered if you are within a 100 mile radius of 07302. Car and title will not be released until full payment is made.
