Spares or repairs
Here for Sale is my 2004 Volkswagen Sharan 1.9 tdi SE AUTO with 6spd gearbox.
Which I have own since January 2012
The car had been working fine and suddenly couple of weeks ago the wheels went free.
Recovery guy from Kavana lifted the car and did some checks and informed the gear inside the gearbox where the drive shaft meets gearbox has either come lose or slipped.
The easiest fix is installing a second hand gear box which is going for anywhere from £200 to rebuilt units at £700.
These Sharans are going for £2500+ in decent condition and that was what I had in my mind. as I had been contemplating on selling it but unfortunately before I could sell it broke down.
So I am not even going to bother fixing and sell minus the price it would take to fix it as I don't have time or energy to undertake this project.
I might consider px, let me know what you have.
Car will have to be towed away at owners expense and cash on collection or instant bank transfer.
