Hi there and welcome to the listing for my Volkswagen Touareg V10 TDi. It has one of the best engines I have ever come across and I would urge anyone who likes their cars to consider one of these, purely for what is under the bonnet!
I haven't had the car for very long, the only reason for selling it is because my girlfriend won't drive it due to it being rather big so I now need to replace it with a smaller four wheel drive vehicle instead. It has been an absolute pleasure to own and drive and I really do wish that I didn't have a to write this advert!
The Touareg has been really well looked after and has a full comprehensive service history most recently being serviced at a Volkswagen main dealer just 1,000 miles ago in December last year. It also had a full set of new brake discs and pads in October last year when it was MOT'ed. The tyres were all replaced with new matching Michelin tyres back in May 2015, the fronts have around 5mm of tread remaining and the rears around 7mm.
This vehicle has a range of extras added when it was originally ordered from the factory back in 2005. These include an electric sunroof, upgraded 20" wheels, Satellite Navigation, 6 disc CD player, Adaptive Xenon headlights, adaptive air suspension, parking sensors front and rear, keyless entry with push button start and a detachable Towbar.
The Touareg drives beautifully, it has a huge amount of power and torque and really has the ability to pick up its feet when required. I cannot fault the way it drives, no knocks bangs or funny noises. The only bad points are a scrape on the n/s/f bumper, a mark on the n/s/r bumper and the wheels have some pitting corrosion and kerb marks. Also, the tyre pressure monitoring was disabled when the tyres were replaced as they changed the tyre valves for normal ones, this results in a light on the dash and a message when you first start the car. This can be rectified just by changing the tyre valves.
