The Touran is VW's Golf based 7 seater - a high quality yetrelatively compact MPV which gives class leading levels of comfort alongwith a practical 7 seat interior. This listing is for a 2005 2.0 TDI"SPORT INDIVIDUAL HIGHLINE MODEL" model which has air conditioning and 6 SPEED gearbox for added comfortand smooth driving experience. This particular car was taken in partexchange by myself and has clearly been extremely well cared for by itsprevious owners. It may have covered 149k miles from new but it's aclean and well presented car which shows very little evidence of anywear and drives as well as it looks and maintained full by volkwagenmain dealers with stamps .
The Touran has a well thought out interior with flexible seatingallows you to stow the rear 2 seats seamlessly into the boot floor injust a coupe of seconds. I find the design and folding action of therear seats in this car to be a highly user-friendly design which islight, and much easier to use than rival MPV's. There is a plenty ofroom for all occupants, and with the rear seats folded a huge boot forall their luggage. The 2.0 litre TDI engine in this SPORT model is one ofmy all time favourites as it provides power, economy and reliability inabundance. This is the same engine you see in a majority of the Audi andVW TDI's of this era and it is famed for its superb longevity. Thepower steering is light and ensures that despite its size, the Touran isan easy car to drive whilst strong ABS brakes ensure the Touran is safeand controllable, even on slippery road surfaces. Variable weight powerassistance means the steering is light at low speeds, but firms up onceyour on the move - It is an easy car to drive and a comfortable longdistance cruiser with cruise control which makes it all-the-moreenjoyable on the motorway.
Overall this car would be a pleasure to own. It is perfect for anyfamily - I doesn't matter if you need 7 seats or just a practical familycar with a large boot - The Touran is a premium quality car whichcaters for your every need. CONDITION & HISTORY;
VW are famed for building a quality car and you can be assured thatthis car will still drive as new. Your first impression when you getbehind the wheel is of how the whole car looks and feels modern with nosign of any wear or misuse. With a smart and clean interior this is aperfect family car with the option of either having 7 seats or a hugeboot capacity for a family of 5. Of course it is a used car - one thathas covered 149k miles, so there will be the odd stone chip or verylight scratch if you are hypercritical. Here are the imperfections Inoted on inspection;
Light marks to some interior plastics - ie around the door handles of which are common on this model.
Rear bumper has minor loading scuffs from loading luggage, being a small person:).
Will have additional stone chips and light scratches in keeping with the cars age and mileage.
The above criticisms are minor imperfections in keeping with thecars age and mileage. If you zoom in on the photos you will see theseflaws but as you can see the overall look of the car is smart and wellpresented. JUST HAD A £50 MAJOR INTERIOR VALET & CLEAN + STEAMWASHED UPOLHESTRY SEATS + CARPETS TOO, carried out after purchase tomake it perfect.
