Volkswagen Bora v5 automatic for sale.
125kw v5 20 valve motor.
Needs a new gearbox. The one in it had the electronics replaced however the alloy bellhousing is cracked so it needs welding or replacement.
The gearbox is half out and would be easy to replace.
The Bora was running great before being pulled off the road early this year due to gearbox problems.
I bought it a few months ago to fix and put back on the road but have run out of time and need a car now.
My loss is your gain.
Just replaced the front control arm bushes and ball joint etc rebuilt CV joints. Brakes. Tyres. Electronics are all in good order. Paint work is very tidy for a car this age and interior is full cream leather with no rips however needs a clean.
I have spent over $700 in the last month in parts. Bushes. ball joints. CV joints. etc. and a gearbox solenoid kit.
All the car needs is a new gearbox
Comes with logbook and partial service history.
Car is not running as the gearbox is partially removedneeds towing from Blacktown NSW 2148.
Car is 100% complete. All the parts are there.
