VW Touareg 4.2L V8, Excellent Condition
Some time back I decided I wanted a 4wd and the Touareg was the right size, great build quality, super comfortable interior better than any of the Japanese competitors, it ticked all the boxes. So I bought a diesel. I only kept that car for 6 months because it sounded a bit like a truck and had terrible turbo lag. Someone told me that VW had produced a petrol v8 that was quieter and much nicer to drive, so I bought one.
This is a great car in very good condition. It was serviced at VW Village ($1200) with a full transmission fluid service. Has just been re-registered with 2 new tyres. It is in excellent condition and has been completely reliable, never had an issue. It has always been garaged so paint is very nice. Mechanically it has always been excellent.
Because its the v8 top of the range it comes with all the extras like the flappy paddles on the steering wheel if you want to change gear manually. It has VW roofracks.
The only issues I have come across is sometimes the headlights come on even though the switch is off, maybe it needs a new relay, I was going to get VW Village to check it out next service. One of the rear tail lights got condensation in it and is a slightly different colour to the other side, but works totally fine. There is a very small mark on the rear seat from a baby seat.
It doesn't have many kms on it because its a spare car for us when the family needs it, or when we need to carry 5 adults with some comfort or we're driving up to the central coast, so it hasn't done very much distance.
No finance on it, comes with logbooks.
