Volkswagen has been producing the vans since 1950, and over the years it has proved to be a fantastic "adventure seeker." The Type 2 VW vans remain an iconic historic figure today. The Westphaila-Werke Van Conversion Company converted the type 2 VW vans into these awesome campers. These icons are still nostalgic head turners today with a lot of fans whenever they head down the road or pull into a campground.
The 1969 offered here is dressed in pastel white and shows remarkably well. Options include full pop top with canvas in great shape, 2 cots, a very spacious drive-a-way tent, 110-125 volt AC electrical hookup, clothes closet with vanity mirror, refrigerator and sink, curtains, storage closet, fold down rear seat, fold down table, spare tire. The interior remains in great shape and is a tried and true "show winner." The birch plywood is immaculate condition.
Extra rear tent that extends the living space along with the canopyand side tent allows you to almost quadruple your living space in this Westy.Tires are fairly new along with great mechanicals and one of the best looking setups we have seen in a while.These continue to have a remarkable following and the values are only going to continue to rise especially the nice ones like this.
