Description
I am selling my beautiful Volvo Estate Wagon, one of the most beautiful production vehicles of the 20th Century.
I have owned it since 2004, and have enjoyed it for 10,000 miles. During this time I have been tuning and upgrading it as required.
Health issues dictates that it is time for a new caretaker for this beauty.
Volvo made the sporty P-1800 from the mid sixties (famous for its use in the TV show “The Saint” with Roger Moore. The wagon 1800 ES, was only produced in 1972 and 1973 with 8077 made to very high specs: 4 cyl engine with Bosch fuel injection, 4 wheel disc brakes, 4 speed transmission with electric overdrive. The have been favored in the West Coast ad are almost impossible to find on the East Coast.
This car has been a PA car since new. Owned by a doctor and garaged and babied since new. After the doctors death it was bought by a collector who did not register it. I am the second owner of record. I had it stored for 10 years and started using it in 2014 in New Jersey for about a year.
During this time I had all fluids changed, the overdrive re-tuned, installed a complete new SS exhaust system, had the factory AC going again, fixed the rear window defroster to work again, installed a new gas tank access door lock and both doors new locks with keys. As well as matching lock for the hatch rear door. Bought and installed new rubber seals for both doors, and had both front seats reupholstered with new factory leather. As well as both front door panels. All systems work. Original miles 66,000, engine tuned, plugs, new exhaust manifold, gas tank cleaned.
