Description
This car is a one owner vehicle purchased and driven mainly in the summer months. It has low miles for the year, and was always stored inside. It was driven very little from the early 2000's and was last plated and driven in 2015. The owner passed away and the vehicle was inherited and has been stored since 2018. It runs and shifts very well. No engine, trans, or axle issues or leaks. The tires have good tread and hold air, but should be replaced as they are over 10 years old. Suspension, brakes, and underbody are in good shape and functional, although the shocks and struts should be replaced. They are not leaking or broken. I just feel the ride and handling is not great due to wear and sitting. Air Conditioning is not working. The body and panels are all in excellent shape and show no evidence of any rust. It does not appear to have any repainting. I have not done a Carfax. but am not aware of the vehicle ever being in an accident.
The interior has no tears or rips, and I don't believe the third seat in the rear has ever been sat on. the leather has some cracking not evident in the photos, but they are in normal condition for the age. Interior plastic is somewhat brittle and the center console is broken, but again is good for the age.
Vehicle is currently stored in a heated and humidity controlled building and is drivable. Picking up the vehicle or transportation is the responsibility of the buyer. Cash, certified check, or money order for exact purchase price acceptable.
The title identifies the model as a 245 DL, but the tailgate shows 240 GL. I am a retired Ford dealer so understand cars, just not familiar with these vehicles, so not sure why that is.
Please contact me with any specific questions and I will be happy to discuss.
