Vintage 544 2 drB18

This is a vintage Volvo 544 2 dr sedan. B 18 Sport. Dual carb 4 cyl engine. 4 cyl manual transmission. These are very well built cars. Very solid car underneath. No rot in the floors. Rockers, inner fenders, fenders are all rot free. {This is really the number 1 thing to watch for in any vintage car). The engine runs super. I don't have receipts for it, but it appears to have been rebuilt. The engine block is clean of oil/grime and was all repainted. The motor runs great and there is no smoke. Starts easy warm or cold. Has an upgraded electronic ignition system installed. Exhaust is good. Brakes work well. (including the park brake) They are 4 wheel drum brakes. (have a slight pull). I purchased new brake cyls and shoes for the front. ( never installed them.) Those parts are included. Transmission is a 4 speed and shifts perfect. I have had alot of fun driving this car . It has great power and if a blast to drive. Anywhere you take it, it attracts attention. The dash is uncut and has the orig radio. There has been a "Alpine" stereo custom mounted in the glovebox. The door panels are new. The front and rear seats are new and look great. The dash pad has some cracks. (they are available new). At one point the car was bumped in the back. The decklid and lower pan have wrinkles in them. It didn't bother me as it doesn't effect the operation of anything. Although the car comes with a replacement decklid and new lower pan if you choose to install them. Car appears to have been painted once.
The car comes with over $ 3,000.00 worth of wheels and tires. It has both the orig set and a custom set. The custom set are American racing "torque thrusts" with high performance radial tires. ( Like new) The car also comes with the orig wheels and hubcaps. These have 4 "like new" Coker "wide white" vintage radial tires. You get both sets with the car. For a custom "sports car" look or original.
This isn't a show car, although i have taken it to many shows Its a great driver with a super solid body. Just a fun car to drive. And people love it .
