Description
In 1995, a high performance model, developed in part with Porsche, was released and designated the T-5R. The vehicle was based on the 850 Turbo, utilizing the Bosch #628) that added an additional 2 psi (0.1 bar) of turbocharger boost pressure,drag coefficient of 0.29 and was capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 5.8 - 6.0 seconds (depending on transmission and body type). The top speed was electronically limited to 155 mph (249 km/h). The vehicle came standard with Alcantara seat inserts.

New Clutch and slave cylinder and ……
Suspension work, Koni shocks all round, Strut tops, A control arms, new King springs in rear, Front, side, top engine mounts and gear box torsion mount, brake rotors and pads all round.
Air conditioning compressor overhaul, evaporator replaced, new Radiator, water pump, pulleys, timing belt, replaced turbo, alternator and starter motor. PCV system breather replaced.
New windscreen, alloys have been repaired and have no kurb rash, all with new tyres, rare 17’ Volans. Spare is also a Volan, new battery.
Drivers air bag clock spring replaced, brake pedal sensor also replaced. All lights / systems on dash work. I can show the new owner how to read the OBD codes.
Coolant expansion bottle and cap, front seats leather replaced. This car was my daily drive for a year and then became a project, sadly I have to let her go. I have bought a boat….
No time wasters please. This car would suit an enthusiast due to its rarity. The T5-r is a very desirable car and sought after around the world due to their limited production. Only 30 of this model came to Australia.
This vehicle also has a aftermarket satellite navigation unit, I have the original radio. The navigation was installed using an adapter so no wires were harmed in the original harness. I also have an alpine v12 amplifier and jbl 6x9 installed in this vehicle.
I have various spares that can be negotiated if you want these. Vehicle will have 3 months registration at time of sale, plates will be changed to standard Alpha numeric.
