EXTERNAL CONDITION
The car looks absolutely sensational in Platinum Metallic Clearcoat paint. The colour is stunning and suit’s the car perfectly. The condition of the paintwork is excellent for the age of car. There are one or two tiny marks which are commensurate with age but none that will show on the photographs. I have had the front bumper repainted at a cost of £300 as there were some small scuffs to each corner - It now looks immaculate for the new owner. It has obviously been superbly looked after throughout it's life ensuring that the car is in outstanding condition. There is NO corrosion on the car at all. The car however is better than most newer cars and exceptional for a Volvo of 9 years. Alloy wheels are Volvo 17” factory fit options, and are in good condition with no deterioration and just one or two marks. All tyres are brand new or nearly new. The electric retractable soft top works perfectly without fault and no issues at all.
MECHANICAL CONDITION
Mechanically the car is excellent, as one would expect of a car with genuine mileage of just 52,000 (Very Low for any 2005 car let alone a Volvo). The engine is smooth, quiet, does NOT smoke and changes up and down without fuss or bother. Performance is brisk and economy averages 35.9mpg. I recently achieved 38.3 mpg on a 100 mile trip. The car has a full main dealer service history, and it was last serviced in February at a cost of £680.00 have just had the car fully serviced locally. It drives superbly and just like a brand new car. I have a full record of all the Mot’s since 2008 and all have been passed with no advisories except for the last, where brake pads were identified as being low. These have now been changed. It has a brand new battery fitted on 10th May 2014 at a cost of £95.00
INTERIOR CONDITION
The interior of the car is excellent and quite clearly has been cared for well maintained throughout his life. The Granite leather interior is superb throughout with no noticeable wear at all – It is like new!!!. Carpets in the boot area are “like new” also. The car has obviously had relatively light use throughout its life and subsequently the inside of the car is immaculate. All trim is bright and polished with no cracking or scratching. All switchgear is fully operational including the Air Conditioning.
SERVICE HISTORY
The car has a fully stamped Volvo Service Handbook pack with all services stamped by Caffyns of Eastbourne. I have all the service bills from 2010 onwards. I have every MOT for the car from new to support the mileage and service history.
