Volvo V40 metalic black diesel sport.
We took the car in part exchange about two and a half years ago. Since then my other half has used it, we have grown quite fond of it with its unbelievable mpg (I clocked well over 60mpg whilst following a coach) luggage space it provided and smart looks.
The previous owners had it from new and had looked after it well. We continued to do so and it had never let us down untill about a year ago when the turbo went without warning. I had it replaced at a garage who didn't drain the intercooler of oil which resulted in the engine running away, blowing the new turbo and snapped the cam belt Que re-con engine and £1500 later. I was not happy! I continued using it to drive to devon and back (fareham). We bought another car for my wife so have decided not to renew the tax and sorned it.
It is currently parked at my dad's house in lightwater, Surrey.We have just mot'd with no issues. Mechanically the engine was fitted less than 10000 miles ago with new cam belt and main oil seals. The front brake flexi hoses were replaced 20000miles ago (a common fault but is fixed on this one) and it has been regularly serviced throughout its life, the majority if which was through the maindealers.
The interior is full black leather and in reasonable condition, the paintwork is metallic black, there are a few age related marks around the car but it still looks smart. Being the sport model it has the angle eye headlights and looks really good.
All in all I have spent alot on the car and is time I move on. As such it is sold as seen, it is advertised elsewhere and I reserve the right to remove.
I have been honest as possible, I have spent a small fortune on the car which hopefully will be cherished by the next owner.
