Description
This 1932 Willys Coupe/Ute Convertible is a great
restoration project for a handyman because it is almost complete.
Original condition but after restoration could make a wonderful hot rod or show stopping rouseabout Ute (timber buckboard).
It has a 3 speed transmission, and enlin 6 cylinder petrol engine. Starter motor needs to be restored and refitted (photos show it sitting on the running board).
It has some parts to be replaced eg perished rubber parts such as hoses and tyres, and it may have a one or two bolts missing. No battery.
Has 53,814 miles on the gauge, and is unregistered. The body is straight. Panels are rust free because it has always been kept undercover. You can see from the photos that the panels just need good preparation for coats of paint. Original paint colour was green. There is a small amount of rust in spare wheel carrier well. Has a few small dents in fenders. Front seat has rotted and only the springs are left.
Included is 4 of the 6 original wire wheels but with no tyres, and only 3 hubcaps. Photos also show some other tyred wheels used to move the vehicle and these are included.
You will have to transport it, and cash on pickup is preferred.
Location is in the NSW Southern Highlands (Buxton) and inspection is invited any day or night until the auction close. Ring Christopher on 0474 480 320 to make an appointment or to ask a question. No email questions will be answered.
