Description
I am selling my restored 1946 Military themed CJ2A and Bantam trailer. This Jeep went thru a complete body off restoration. I purchased the jeep after the jeep had been reassembled. The engine had been completely rebuilt and the electrical had been completely rewired and converted to 12 Volt. After I purchased it, I finished off mostly the aesthetics. The seats were covered with military canvas, all gauges replaced, turn signals added along with windshield wipers. I added a reverse light, seat belts, ammo can center console, "alligator clip" loops added to rear seat for child seat and floor covered with black rubber mat. I even added a heater, with plans to add a top later. The 4 jeep tires are new and exactly like would have been on a war era jeep. The rims are all new as well. This thing runs like a top..starts up first time every time. I drive it to town occasionally and it gets all kinds of looks! It is currently registered, insured and inspected to be road ready!
The trailer is also from the 40's but I don't know for sure when. This trailer has been completely rebuilt with all new bearings and underpinnings.the old bed was rusted pretty bad, so we cut it out completely and added a brand new bed. The trailer has not been licensed or registered since it's rebuild. Not a big deal. I'm not a trailer builder, so I can't say what its capacity is, but I would haul any heavy loads. This pair would make a fantastic parade vehicle.
Please ask a question if you have any. I'm sure I've things off, so let me know what I can do to answer your questions!
