Description
What a
stunning ’41 Willys! It is powered by a 383 Stroker motor with the famous 671
Weiand Blower! Two 450cjm Holley carburetors, electric fuel pump and an MSD
distributor & coil breath life into this monster! The aluminum radiator
with twin electric fans keeps her running cool. The 383 was built by Doug’s
Racing Stables and what a sound comes from the full-length headers and 3-inch
exhaust. To add a little excitement a key fob actuated Exhaust Cutouts. A touch
of the fob and this ’41 Willys is in full race mode. What a why to thrill a
crowd at a show as the Willys beast roars to life!
The 383ci is backed by automatic 400 Monster transmission and is putting power to the ground by a Ford 9" rear end that has open 31 spline axles and 3.70:1 gear. This makes for friendly highway driving. The Hurst Shifter with lock-out trigger is the perfect combination. This beauty can stop on a dime with front and rear Wilwood disc brakes and a Wilwood brake master cylinder. One of the finest braking systems on the market.
The flowless body is made by Outlaw fiberglass one of the finest bodies you can buy. The Outlaw Performance chassis has a mustang II front end and fully adjustable front air ride suspension. The front air ride makes it a snap to raise the front for driving, speed bumps, driveways, and yes to load on a trailer. The on-board compressor gives you confidence to put the nose on the ground at shows knowing that it’ll lift easily when it’s time to leave.
The exterior is painted PPG Metallic Purple that takes on a life of its own in the sun! The interior by Mesa Upholstery really makes the car stand out with the color combination of grey leather and purple stitched Willys logo. To keep you in the seat is a Simpson 3-point harness & seat belts (driver and passenger). What is life without power windows and a Kenwood Stereo. This pro-built Willys has only 4,450 miles.
