1951 Willys 4 Wheel Drive Custom Built Pickup

1951 Willys 4wd Pickup Custom built. If it is listed it available.I put this truck on the road in 2009 after a 5 year on and off build. I was offered 35K in 2010 at a Tennessee cruise in. At that time I had no intentions of selling but things change. I have built many custom vehicles over the years and have been a professional mechanic for 45 years. I did not build this truck to be a show winner I did build it to be mechanically excellent. The truck only has 14,000 miles since I built it. The speedometer is off 2 or 3 miles per hour because we checked it with a gps when I first built it and I think it was fast. Every place that had rust was cut out and new metal welded in except the door bottoms,they were not available at the time I did the truck.They only had a small amount of rust on the outter bottom and I blasted them and used duraglass ad spray undercoated the inside of the doors.It is basically a Chevrolet truck with a 1951 Willys pickup body mounted on a rust free 1976 Chevy K10 short wheel base chassis. It has a built 1967,327 engine 4 speed New process bulldog trans with the 205 all gear drive transfer case. I have many build pictures the frame was sand blasted and painted with chassis black. Everything was rebuilt or replaced. The body was also blasted to bare metal inside and out and epoxy 2K primed then base clear forest green metallic.The paint has chips and places touched up with flatarmy green.I have taken it off road but nothing extreme.I could go on & on about the parts I have replacedbut I have a file where I spent over 17K on it. It is a one of a kind great running driving bad ass truck that gets a lot of attention everywhere I go am located in southeast KY.Whitesburg, KY.
