Description
1951 Willys Wagon is in driveable condition. Body is straight and no visible rust except bottom of passenger door and front floorboards were rusty and have metal patches installed (screwed and siliconed not welded see pics). Upgraded new 12 volt starter, 12 volt Alternator should be replaced with one wire alt and better brackets, headlights and taillight are 12 V. Original wiring should be upgraded and 6 volt gauges are not hooked up. Glove box door opener needs work and new glove box. Good original looking wood slats with stainless screws. Seats are in good shape front and rear. There is rubber that came with Wagon to do windows?? Rear Gate opens and closes properly and new window (passenger side) is cracked with new rubber .. has a plexi in now :( … Motor was rebuilt by PO but no records. Looking for local Jeep mechanic to do follow up maintenance.. motor sounds really good … no ticks, slaps or weird noises… Doesn’t smoke. Windshield wipers are vacuum and not tested assume they need addressed..Brand new alum radiator filled with distilled water and antifreeze. Brand new water pump. Feel free to ask intelligent questions and I will try to answer what I know intelligently.. Clean Title in my name. New pic of pin holes in bottom of passenger door only. Paint discoloration is from aftermarket spray covering what appeared to be snow chain scratches only on passenger side..no headliner but has bows… some windows have cracks and are temporarily installed.
No Willys heater but have possible “old school” replacement if desired.
Will take more pics of interior after installing small rear seat that I sanded and painted..
