This excellent little 3000 Healey drives and performs just as beautifully as it shows. Purchased out of Southern California with a previous life in a Japanese museum collection, it is a very solid, driver plus quality car riding on an older restoration. Car is finished in a dark blue with ivory white. The paint and chrome are superb with only a few minor defects shown in the photos. The undercarriage is very solid, car was previously undercoated, no evidence of major repairs, however not concourse condition (Grease and grime are present). Engine bay shows older restoration but no leaks or areas of concern. The interior is very presentable, gauges and steering wheel show wonderful patina that gives you great feeling of driving a classic. Car has a very nice soft top for its age and also comes with tonneau cover and soft top cover, all of which are rip free and fully functional.
This MKII drives absolutely wonderfully. Car starts up every time on the first crank. Lots of torque from the twin-carb inline 6 and smooth shifts with working overdrive. Car handles as it should and the brakes do as well. Has disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear. Excellent driving experience is to be had by this car. It is a very well sorted BJ7 that is meant to be driven on mountain roads with the top down and then presented at your local car show or enthusiast event.
Any questions and all pre-purchase requests are welcomed and recommended.
