1966 Austin Healey 3000 3000 Mkiii BJ8

this 1966 AUSTIN HEALEY 3000 MKIII BJ8 was sold new in Roswell, Ga, and then migrated to Southern California where it was shipped in enclosed transport to Atlantic City new Jersey in 2013. It is an unrestored original with one repaint. There is a file with receipts for repairs and upgrades which include the following:-2 rebuilt SU carbs
-new power brake booster
-new master cylinder and slave cylinder for clutch
-12V to neg, ground conversion
-Petronix breakerless distributor
-generator to alternator conversion
-4 new Dayton Stainless steel wire wheels set up for tubeless tires
-new Moss stainless steel exhaust system installed
-12V pusher fan in front of factory radiator temp. controlled
-rebuilt tachometer at time of neg, ground conversion
Original engine runs great and does the trans which on big healey's was a 4 speed with electric overdrive with a hydraulic clutch
This car is set up to be a fun driver and has always been garaged and now is driven only in dry Summer weather and stored during the Winter. The soft top is still serviceable and you can see through the plastic rear window. The car comes with the very rare HARDTOP also painted red. Also factory tonneau cover. The seats are original and are not split but still show their age. The car is priced to sell. The rear bumper is slightly dented in (see picture).
