1956 Austin Healey BN2

Nice original, pretty much rust free 1956 Austin Healey BN2 up for sale. This car has spent its entire life in a dry climate in southwest USA. The only rust I see is in front of the rear tires on both sides. It is confined to the rear part of the rocker panels and some minor rust in the dogleg. This is insignificant rust. The original triangle gusset can still be seen in the dogleg area. Besides that, the car is rust free. The body is very straight. This 1956 Austin Healey BN2 has a great front bumper and grill, and has a new, English made, rear bumper and overriders. The mileage shows 93931. It comes with the original trafficator that is not installed. It has an original, tattered, red tonneau cover. The interior is serviceable, but needs replaced. This BN2 does start and drive. It has a good gearbox with overdrive and has no noise in 1st gear. The brakes have ok pressure, but one of the wheel cylinders is sticking. The windscreen and windscreen frame are both very good. Someone has relocated the battery to the trunk. It has 48 spoke painted wire wheels with old radials. This BN2 has the top frame attached and an old tattered top. It has aftermarket sidecurtains. The sills, floors and outriggers are all solid and the original paint still shows well on all. If you are looking for an unmolested original BN2, this is the car for you.
